The Hope Curling Club AGM is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept 22 at 7:00 pm (2015 statements, 2016 information, and 2016 elections) All members and prospective curlers are encouraged to attend. Roman is hopeful that the ice will be ready by the end of this week and we are scheduled to start our league play the week of October 14 (This will be a "fun" week, official schedules start the following week). If you haven't gathered up your team(s) yet, it's time to get busy! I encourage you to talk to friends, family, co-workers who might be interested in trying curling and to bring them out to the rink for an Open House night (the Club will be open weekday evenings for practice/instruction beginning next week) and/or the Fun 'Spiel event we have planned for October 5 (look under the "News" tab atwww.hopecurlingclub.com for details). Thursday Open League is completely open as far as team make-up is concerned - any Ladies' teams interested in curling this season, please join us for some fun on Thursday evenings if you are able! Curling Fees: First night: $250.00 (as approved at the AGM) Second night: $150.00 (unchanged) Third night: $60.00 (unchanged) One-time lifetime membership fee of $75.00 for new curlers (unchanged). Fees are to be collected for each team by the skip and are due byNovember 2 to Stu (Treasurer) or Roman (Manager). Skips: please complete a team registration form and turn in with your dues.
