Hope Curling Club AGM

Hello Hope Curling Club members!

Just a reminder that the Annual General Meeting will be held this coming Thursday, September 20th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hope Curling Club.  The meeting is open to all members as well as anyone interested in learning more about our Club and our upcoming curling season.  Please consider attending if you are able and encourage interested individuals you might know to come out.  The agenda will include the Club financial report, the new curling league fee schedule, and election of Directors.  Attending members will be entered in a draw for one league night of curling free, and one free locker rental.  Those of you who are interested in taking a turn at helping in the governance of your Club this season, please let Sarah Golos (Secretary) or Stu Wise (Treasurer) know at or before the AGM.  Two of your current Directors are stepping down, so, I am hopeful that we can find a couple of individuals to carry on in their place and contribute their valuable ideas and insight.
 
Registration information and forms for our curling leagues will be available at the meeting.  League play is scheduled to begin the week of Thanksgiving, October 8th, usually slated as a "fun" week with the official draw beginning the following week.  To facilitate the organization of the leagues for this season, please register as soon as possible (as a team, or as an individual if you don't have a team) by contacting the following league coordinators or emailing your details to [email protected]
